A Double-Veined Leaf-Shaped Bionic Meta-Element and Array Loading Antennas for Radiation Beam Control

Based on bionics, we design and analyze the left-handed (LH) characteristics of meta-elements with leaf-shaped structure. The double negative (DNG) frequency band initial LH structure is 5.77-6.17 GHz a fractional bandwidth 6.7%. Inspired by two overlapping leaves, based topology, evolve into line-line coupled double-leaf DNG bands are 2.96-3.86 4.14-4.18 GHz. This not only retains some radiation reflection properties design, but also gains new electromagnetic (an additional band). Finally, further evolved, through mostly homeomorphic deformation, ring-ring double-veined 3.05-3.81 5.31-5.41 GHz, 22.2% 1.9%, respectively. arc-vein branches form parallel coupling margin, affecting structure’s impedance capacitance. Similar to coupling, it can locally stretch characteristics, expanding corresponding bandwidth. Through establishment topological set, classify transformation changes in characteristics. We then use formula express process intuitively. loaded microstrip antenna several different ways, improving antenna’s properties, including bandwidth, directivity, gain.
